An IDP from the countryside of Homs uprooted a number of olive trees, while the Turkish authorities keep ignoring the complaints submitted against the logging operations and the theft of the olive season from the fields of the indigenous Kurdish residents of Afrin.
Our reporter stated that an IDP called “Ahmed Abdel-Hadi Oklah Abu Haidar” uprooted seven olive trees from their trunks in the village of Kafr Safra, in the district of Jindires. Knowing that the owner of the filed a complaint against him, but the complaint was ignored and no legal action was taken against him.
The acts of theft did not come to an end by the Turkish-supported militias and their families from the IDPs against the olive season in the occupied region of Afrin, despite the variables of events and the spread of the forces of the “Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham” organization and the start of its security apparatus to pursue its wanted men amid a state of caution and anticipation among the residents of the region.
