HTS takes full control of Afrin, northern Syria

The leaders of the “Al-Jabha Al-Shamiya” militia accused the rest of the “National Army” militias of treason for the so-called “revolution”, after they withdrew and “Jaish al-Islam” militia from the neighborhoods of Afrin and the village of Terenda without a fight, while the other “National Army” militias announced their neutrality and not participating in the fighting. revolving between the two parties.

According to our reporter, the militias of the “Al-Jabha Al-Shamiya and Jaysh al-Islam” withdrew with their families towards the city of Azaz and the village of Kafar Janneh in Shara district of the occupied countryside of Afrin.

It is worth noting that huge military reinforcements belonging to Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham also reached the outskirts of Afrin, coming from Idlib governorate through the al-Ghazawiya crossing in Sherawa district, which included columns of tanks, armored vehicles, troop carriers and dozens of fighters. HTS militants besides “Al-Hamzat and Al-Amashat” militias began to spread in the neighborhoods of Afrin, amid hearing heavy gunfire.
