“Faylaq Al-Sham” kidnap 15 persons during raid in Burj Haidar village, Afrin

The Turkish-backed “Faylaq Al-Sham” militia launched a raid on houses of Burj Haidar village in Sherawa district, during which they kidnapped 15 Kurdish persons and took them to Iska prison (Al-Madjana prison) in the village of Iska in Sherawa district of the occupied countryside of Afrin.

Among the kidnapped persons were “Suleiman Muhammad Gule Khairi (47 years old), Muhammad Suleiman (43 years old), Mustafa Muhammad Gule Khairy, Muhammad Ibrahim Gule Khairy, Mahmoud Ibrahim Gule Khairy, Hamza Ahmed Hassan, Hamo Gule Khairy (50 years old), Ahmed Alo and Sido Ali Gule Khairy (50 years old), according to our sources in the village.

The sources confirmed that the raid carried out by “Faylaq Al-Sham” militia is still ongoing today searching for people who have relatives in the al-Shahba area, which has been sheltering the forcibly displaced from the original Kurdish residents of Afrin since the Turkish aggression on Afrin in March 2018.

The Human Rights Organization in Afrin stated that the militia had kidnapped them on the flimsy pretext of cooperating with the former Autonomous Administration for the purpose of blackmailing them and collecting ransoms in exchange for their release.

In a related context, “Mohammed Ahmed Hassan” from the village of Burj Haidar, who is the brother of the kidnapped “Hamza Ahmed Hassan” was kidnapped by gunmen in the occupied city of Azaz, yesterday, Saturday, after he was deported from Turkey to the Bab al-Salama crossing.
