The organization of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham and the militias of “Al-Amshat and Al-Hamzat” stormed the village of Kafr Jannah in Sharan district, this evening, Thursday, after violent clashes with “Al-Jabha Al-Shamiya” militia, on the outskirts of the village in the occupied countryside of Afrin.
Our reporter stated that the incursion took place from the side of Afrin road by tanks and heavy machine guns, amid heavy fire targeting and shells falling on civilian homes, while no information was received about the extent of the damage until now.
Our reporter explained that the “Al-Jabha Al-Shamiya” militia used the people of the village of Kafr Jannah as human shields in its war, amid intense exchange of artillery and missile shelling on the outskirts of the village and the people’s attempt to flee towards safer villages, while the atmosphere of the village witnessed the flight of Turkish reconnaissance aircraft.
On the other hand, the militias of the “Waqqas Brigade and the Samarkand Brigade” announced their defection from the “Third Corps” militia and their joining the militia of the “Tha’irun for Liberation,” coinciding with the control of the “Al-Amashat” militia and Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham on the villages of Senara and Marwaniyah in Shieh / Sheikh Al-Hadid district after the withdrawal of “Al-Shamiya and Liwaa Waqas” militias from it.
