Yesterday, Saturday, one of the leaders in the Turkish-backed “Al-Jabha Al-Shamiya” militia imposed annual royalty on smugglers on Turkish border.
According to our reporter, the leader called “Abu Ali Sejjo” imposed an annual royalty of $5,000 on the smugglers of Deir Sawan village in Shara district, and the villages of Aboudan and Bekeh in Bulbul district, in addition to Azaz border villages.
It is noteworthy that clashes took place, on August 6, between the Turkish-backed “Al-Hamza Division” and “Al-Mu’tasim Division” militia in the village of Za’are in Bulbul district, due to the dispute over the smuggling line, in which the two sides used light and medium machine guns and mortars, which resulted in the injury of 5 elements from both sides.
Clashes also erupted, on the same day, between two groups among the “Sultan Murad Division” militia in the village of Deir Sawan in Shera district, following a dispute over the division of smuggling people, goods and firewood takings towards Turkish territory.
