Turkish forces shell villages in northern countryside of Aleppo

afrinpost – Special

This morning, Thursday, the Turkish forces, stationed at the Thuthlana base on the outskirts of Marea, targeted the vicinity of the villages of Al-Nairabiya and Al-Shaala and the road connecting the villages of Umm Al-Hosh and Harbel in the northern countryside of Aleppo, with heavy artillery.

This came after several rocket and artillery shells fell, yesterday evening, Wednesday, inside a military post of the Turkish army in the vicinity of the village of Kemar in the Sherawa district of Afrin, northern Syria, which led to direct damage to the base, while no military authority claimed targeting the Turkish military point.

The artillery and missile shelling of the Turkish forces continues on the villages of Shirawa district, Shara and the areas of the northern countryside of Aleppo on a daily basis, causing material damage to residential facilities and agricultural lands and causing casualties among the residents and displaced people of Afrin in the area.
