Kurdish citizen released for two thousand dollars in Syria’s Afrin

The pro-Turkey “Ahrar al-Sharqiya” militia released on June 28, the citizen “Ahmed Abdel Rahman Ma’mo”, after he paid a ransom of two thousand US dollars.

“Ahrar al-Sharqiya” militia had kidnapped the citizen “Mamo” on June 20, for the third time, while he was on his way from his workplace to his home in Al-Zaydiyah neighborhood in Afrin city.

The citizen “Mamo” is from the village of Maamala – Rajo district. He is married and has 3 children. He works in a sweets factory (Zahret al-Khaleej) located in al-Mahmoudiya neighborhood.
