An IDP from al-Sha’ara village in the countryside of Maarat al-Numan, Idlib governorate was killed by direct fire from unidentified gunmen inside his tent on the outskirts of al-Zaydiyah neighborhood in Afrin.
“afrinpost” reporter stated that unidentified gunmen directly opened fire on the tent of “Hussein Musa al-Obeid” from al-Jamajmeh clan, in al-Ziyadiya camp, on the outskirts of al-Zaydiya neighborhood in Afrin city, seriously wounded him, after which he was taken to the millitary hospital “Martyr Farsanda Hospital” where he received treatment, but he died of his severe injury, while the motives for the killing are still unknown.
It is reported that, on May 16, 2022, a hand grenade exploded in the Zaydiyah neighborhood in the center of the occupied city of Afrin, killing the IDP “Ali al-Dalati” and seriously wounding his wife and daughter.
