Besides all kinds of unbridled abuses and violations , the Turkish-backed Islamic militias blackmail the people in Afrin to collect money by all means.
Our reporter stated that the “Sultan Murad” militia had taken control of the side roads and sidewalks at Al-Telal Street and al-Aabbara in the old neighborhood of Afrin towards Azadi Square, where stall owners used to sell their goods there with the advent of annual holidays.
“The “Murad” militia allocated the roads for stalls and rented them to sellers, who prepared their goods, including clothing, accessories, and Eid sweets, for 700 Turkish liras until the day of the Eid al-Fitr pause.” the reporter added.
