Yesterday, Tuesday, a young Kurdish man committed suicide, fatally shot himself in the head with a pistol, after being harassed, blackmailed and threatend for long time by the Turkish-backed al-Jabha al-Shamiya militia.
Our reporter stated that the young man ‘Muhammad Bilal Bilal’, who worked at “Chicken Nugget” restaurant near the Chinese market on Rajo Road in the center of Afrin city, committed suicide by shooting himself, due to the harrasment and intimidation he faced by the so-called “Abu Jaafar Mayer”, one of the pro-Turkey ‘al-Jabha al-Shamiya’ militants and his repeated demands to pay him ransoms and threaten to arrest him, because his brother had fled the city of Afrin as a result of being kidnapped five times by the same militia.
The reporter pointed out that the so-called “Abu Jaafar” demanded him yesterday, while he was working in the restaurant, also a ransom in exchange for not arresting him instead of his brother. Anyway, Bilal could not stand this situation anymore, so he brought a gun from one of his acquaintances in the vicinity of the restaurant and committed suicide by shooting himself in the head, and died instantly.
“The citizen ‘Bilal’ is married and has 3 children, and he is from Bulbul sub-district in Afrin”, the reporter added.
