The Turkish-backed “Al-Majd Corps” militia imposed a large in-kind royalty of 300 tin cans of olive oil (16 Liters) on the people of the village of Kêla in Bulbul sub-district, under the pretext of protecting their fields.
Our reporter said that the so-called “Abu Adel”, the head of the militia’s economic office, held a meeting for the people on Thursday, at the militia headquarters in the village, and informed them that 300 tin cans of olive oil must be paid as an annual royalty to them, indicating that this amount of oil will be taken from about 70 field owners who are in the village.
