Our correspondent reported that the Turkish-backed “Al-Jabha al-Shamiya” on Thursday 16/9/2021, kidnapped the young man ‘Walid Muhammad Naasan’, who is from the village of Amra / Omar Ushaghi of Rajo sub-district.

The young man “Walid” was living in Ahras sub-district in al-Shahba, and he decided to return to Afrin through smuggling routes, but the militia kidnapped him upon his arrival in Afrin and he was taken to the city of Azaz, demanding his family a ransom of 20 million Syrian pounds, in exchange for his release.

Another Kurdish citizen, ‘Gharib Ismail Hassan’ from the village of Xelnêrê, was kidnapped on 9/13/2021 from his home in al-Mahmudiya neighborhood in Afrin.

The 48-year-old citizen ‘Gharib’, who works in construction, was previously kidnapped by the pro-Turkey militias in the occupied city of Al-Bab and released, and his fate is still unknown.

On the other hand, the “Suqur Al-Shamal” militia on the morning of 9/15/2021 kidnapped Kurdish citizens from the village of Gemrûk of Mabeta / Maabatli sub-district during a raid campaign in the village.

According to our correspondent, “the citizens ‘Abdo Muhammad Omar and Muhammad Hussein Sheikho’ were taken to the militia headquarters located in the vicinity of “Newroz” roundabout in the city of Afrin, with the aim of financial extortion, despite the militia’s claim that it handed them over to the “military police” militia.
