Turkish-backed militants arrest Kurdish woman while visiting her detained husband in Afrin

afrinpost – Exclusive

Our reporter in Afrin city said that the Turkish authorities arrested on Monday 9/13/2021 a Kurdish woman in the center of Afrin in northern Syria, while she was visiting her husband in the prison.

The reporter explained that the pro-Turkey “Political Security” militia arrested the citizen ‘Farida Mustafa’ while she was visiting her detained husband ‘Hamouda Abdel Qader Sido’ on the pretext that her name is on the list of the wanted list who collaborated with the former Autonomous Administration in Afrin.

“Farida is 28 years old, a mother of two children, from the village of Kurka of Ma’batli sub-district, and her fate is still unknown until today.” the reporter addded.

It is noteworthy that the Turkish-backed militias arrested, early this September, her husband “Hamouda Abdel Qader Sido”, from the village of Brimjah of Ma’batli sub-district, at the checkpoint established at the eastern entrance to the occupied city of Afrin (Al-Qaws Checkpoint).
