The Turkish-backed militias in Afrin continue to harass the Kurdish citizens and kidnap them under various pretexts with the aim of blackmailing them financially.
According to our sources, Turkish intelligence, in coordination with the militants of “Faylaq Al-Sham” militia, on Tuesday, August 10, arrested four citizens of the village of Jalame in Jinderes sub-district, on charges of communicating and working with the former Autonomous Administration, and they were later released after each of them paid a ransom of between 1000 and 2000 Turkish liras.
The sources indicated that the citizen, “Azad Fadel Arabo (44 years old), was arrested on charges of working within the commune of the village, and he was released after paying 1,000 Turkish liras. As for the citizens “Ali Bakr Alo (24 years), Ibrahim Khaled Kanjo (24 years) and Dalil Muhammed Kadlo (30 years), each of them paid a sum of money ranging from 1000 to 2000 Turkish liras in exchange for their release.
