Under false pretexts, Turkish forces arrest 7 Kurdish citizens in Afrin

At the end of this month, the Turkish authorities carried out raids in the villages of Şorbe, Miskê and Hec Xelîl, which resulted in the arrest of 7 Kurdish citizens, on charges of dealing with the Autonomous Administration in the occupied region of Afrin, northern Syria, according to our sources.

The sources stated that on 27/7/2021 a patrol of the pro-Turkey “Political Security” militia arrested the citizens (Nihad Aslan Bayram – Abdin Omar Aslan and his son) from their homes in the village of Şorbe- Mabata / Maabatli sub-district, on charges of going on guard duty during the Autonomous Administration period in the occupied Kurdish region.

In the village of Miskê, in Rajo sub-district, the “Civil Police” militia arrested two Kurdish youths (Khaled Hussein Mustafa and Rami Omar Qara) on 26/7/2021, on charges of dealing with the Autonomous Administration.

In the same context, the Human Rights Organization in Afrin stated that a joint patrol of the Turkish intelligence and the “Civil Police” militia, on 7/26/2021, arrested the young man Doghan Hussein in the village of Haj Khalil – Rajo sub-district, on charges of interacting with social media posts that Expose violations committed by Turkey and its militants Afrin!

The organization added that the same patrol arrested, on the same day, the minor “Mirvan Ali Sheikho”, on the pretext that he appeared in a video while participating in a party organized by the Autonomous Administration 4 years ago!
