Yesterday, Monday morning, the Turkish-backed Jabhat al-Shamiya militia kidnapped a Kurdish citizen, Ragheb Ahmed Alo, in front of a store in al-Ashrafieh neighborhood in occupied Afrin region, under the pretext of dealings with the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, three days after his return from al-Shahba areas. The 32-year-old citizen “Alo”, who is from Dîkê village of Bulbul sub-district, used to live in the al-Shahba areas. He arrived by smugglers affiliated with “Jabhat al-Shamiya” militia in the town of Maryamin for 700 US dollars, to the city of Afrin, where he intended to bring his family as well. However, the militias kidnapped him and handed him over to the Turkish intelligence forces three days after his arrival in the city, and his fate is still unknown.
The reporter added that a joint patrol of the Turkish intelligence and the military police militia visited this morning, Tuesday, the mayor of Dîkê village, to inquire about the detainee, “Ragheb Alo.”
