Three pro-Ankara armed men, on Monday 07.06.2021, stormed the house of a Kurdish elderly man in the center of Jindires sub-district, and then tied him up and severely beat him, and looted money and gold, according to our sources.
In the details, three armed men stormed the house of the 77-year-old citizen Ahmed Hassan Rashkelo, by climbing walls, and handcuffed him and his wife, Fahima, while he was performing ablution to perform Fajr prayer, and severely beat them. Then they stole $80 and 100,000 Syrian pounds and 30 cans of olive oil from his house, in addition to gold earrings from his wife’s ears, and other gold jewelry.
The sources added that the gunmen promised that they would target every Kurdish person remained in Afrin then left. Noting that the elderly “Rashkelo” was taken to a hospital to receive treatment due to the severe beating he suffered despite his old age.
The elderly “Rashkelo” is from the village of Aranda in Shieh/Sheikh Al-Hadid sub-district, but has been living in Jindires town for years.
