A girl was killed and two members of her family were injured last Friday night, as a result of indiscriminate artillery shelling targeting several villages in Sherawa sub-district in the eastern countryside of Afrin.
Our correspondent there said that the Turkish forces and their Islamic militias shelled randomly and violently late Friday night – Saturday, the villages of Kaluta, Rabja Al-Qas, Gunde Mezin, Mayassa, Soghonakeh, Aqiba, Ziyara and Bene.
The correspondent confirmed that one of the shells fired by the Turkish forces hit a house in the village of Kaluta, killing a 14-year-old girl “Zainab Hussein Ibrahim” and injuring her brother “Bakr Hussein Ibrahim”, and their 51-year-old father “Hussein Ibrahim”.
The correspondent added that heavy shelling is still continuing on the villages of Sherawa sub-district in the eastern countryside of Afrin.
