Al-Amshat seizes new lands to build settlement for militia’s families, in Shiekh al-Hadid sub-district

The so-called “Mohammed Jassem / Abu Amsha”, the leader of the Turkish-backed “Suleiman Shah / Al-Amshat” militia, continues to seize more lands of citizens to build his own emirate, and to consolidate demographic change by building settlements.

The militiamen of the “Suleiman al-Shah/Al-Amashat”, which controls Sheikh al-Hadid district, seized a plot of land with a land area of ​​about two hectares, owned by the Kurdish citizen Saeed Kojer, a resident of Sheikh al-Hadid sub-district, according to the Afrin activists’ network.

It is reported that the seized land was fenced with cypress trees, and the militants cut down those trees in order to build settlements on it in addition to a wedding hall.

In a related context, Turkish-backed militants began building rooms in a site known as Lêçe near the village of Chaqalo in Sheikh al-Hadid sub-distrct.

It is noteworthy that the plan, which was implemented about three months ago, includes the construction of a camp with about 600 rooms, aimed at housing the families of militants killed during the aggression on Afrin region, and the construction works started about two weeks ago. Also, the gunmen cut down old trees, including the tree known to the locals as Şingêlê tree, to level the land for construction works.
