The reporter pointed out that the two members of Liwa al-Quds are: Ahmed Farraj and Bilal Rafea, and they managed to escape from the militants of the “Suqur Al-Shamal” militia with the help of prison guards, after paying large sums of money to them. Although their names were circulated at the checkpoints of the National Army, however, they were able to escape from prison.

The reporter stated that the two militants were caught in the village of Burj Haidar in Sherawa sub-district on February 15, 2021, while they were trying to escape to Turkey through smugglers from “Al-Hamzah” militia in the village of Basuta.

Our correspondent noted that Bilal Rafea, an element in the “Liwa al-Quds” militia, paid the prison guards 5 million Syrian pounds in exchange for smuggling him from prison with the other element who was with him, adding that Bilal Rafea has a credit and property in Turkey estimated at about 4 million dollars.
