Our correspondent monitored that the Turkish occupation authorities resettled displaced people from the village of Umm Batna in the countryside of Quneitra in areas of the occupied Afrin region.
On 05/21/2021, the Syrian regime reached with notables from the village of Umm Batinah in the countryside of Quneitra an agreement to displace 30 extremists with their families (about 150 people) to the Turkish occupied areas in northern Syria under Russian auspices.
The Turkish-backed militias in northern Syria refused to receive these displaced persons, and brought them through al-Ghazawiya crossing in the countryside of Afrin to the terrorist “Hayat Tahrir al-Sham” areas in Idlib.
Anyway, our correspondent indicated that a number of families were resettled in Afrin, noting that The so-called “Bishara” and his family – one of the displaced from Quneitra – were housed in the house of a Kurdish displaced person in al-Ashrafieh neighborhood, in the vicinity of the Turkish base in al-Feel street, in the sector under the control of “Ahrar al-Sham” militia.
The correspondent added that some of the displaced people of Quneitra will be resettled in the Yazidi villages of Basufan and Shadereh, noting that the largest part has entered Idlib as they are members of the Al-Nusra Front.
The so-called “Abd al-Rahman Mustafa”, head of the so-called “Syrian Interim Government” of the Muslim Brotherhood, published a post on his Twitter account, in which he said that a committee was formed to receive the displaced from Quneitra and transfer them to places designated for their residence in the occupied territories.
