Turkish-backed “Hamzah Division” kidnaps 4 Kurdish citizens in Basuta village, Afrin countryside

On Thursday, April 8, 2021, the Turkish-backed “Hamzah Division” militia affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood organization kidnapped four Kurdish citizens from the village of Basuta in the southern countryside of Afrin region, on the usual charge of “dealing with the previous Autonomous Administration.”

“(Batal Fathi Battal/ 40 years old, Hussein Omar Alloush/ 23 years old, Shero Muhammad Khalil/ 23 years old, and Khalil Muhammad Ali/ 20 years old) were kidnapped by “al-Hamzah” gunmen, who took them to one of its secret prisons located between the two villages of Basuta and Burj Abdalo.” According to our correspondent.

The correspondent confirmed that the militia is communicating with the families of the kidnapped citizens and demands for each one of them a ransom of 1,000 US dollars in exchange for their release, adding that the militia has not yet handed them over to the “Military Police” militia until they obtain the ransom money.

On the other hand, the Turkish-backed extremist militias in Azaz city earlier kidnapped citizens from the village of Ziyarete / Azziyarah, as they tried to enter Turkish territory to smuggled from the Hawar Kilis area, and their fate is still unknown to this day.

According to the Human Rights Organization, the kidnapped citizens are (Maher Khaled Oso/ 20 years old, and Mustafa Abbas Al-Ahmad/ 22years old).
