“The Turkish-backed extremist militia, known as the “Syrian National Army,” has conducted patrols in a number of villages in Afrin region to pursue those breaking the fast in Ramadan, under penalty of imposing fines and subjecting them to Islamic legal courses.” As reported by sources to afrinpost.

“Liwa Al-Waqqas” militia that occupies the villages of Hekeche and Marwaniya in Shieh / Sheikh Al-Hadid district, as well as “Faylaq al-Sham” militia that occupies the village of Basufan, Bai’a, Burj Haydar and other villages in Sherawa district, decided to conduct patrols with the aim of pursuing those who break fast openly during the month of Ramadan in the villages under their control.” According to our correspondent.

The correspondent indicated that the aforementioned extremist militias will impose a fine on those breaking the fast, in addition to subjecting them to a religious course.

On the other hand, our correspondent also monitored the “Ahbab Allah” group, affiliated with ISIS, wandering around the shopkeepers and public streets in Afrin to urge people to fast and pray and distribute dates and miswak to them.
