“The Turkish-backed militia, known as the Syrian National Army, confiscated on (April 7, 2021) dozens of tractors in the villages of Gemruk and Arab-Shekho of Mobata / Maabatli district, after some of their owners refused to carry out forced labor for the militia.” According to our sources.
” Suqour al-Shamal” militia confiscated 61 agricultural tractors in the villages of Gemruk and Arab-Shekho (14 tractors from it), due to the refusal of some of their Kurdish peasants to carry out forced / unpaid work such as farming and transportation in favor of the militia. Noting that the confiscated tractors were collected in the village of Arab-Shekho.” The sources stated.
The TSO militias in all villages and towns are forcing Kurdish peasants to carry out farming, pruning trees and transport work in the fields they seize, and some militias force young people to carry out excavation in archaeological sites in search of antiquities, without paying them money in a very similar form to slavery or servitude.
