Yesterday, Saturday, the Turkish authorities released the Kurdish citizen (Khalil Hassan Hassan 33 years old) from the central Marate prison, after a forcible disappearance lasted for more than 3 years in the basements of the Turkish prisons.

“Khalil”, married and has two children, is from Araba village of Mobata / Maabatli district.

In a related context, afrinpost also received information from a former detainee, stating that the young man, “Kawa Omar,” from the village of Dargire, is in “al-Zira’a” prison in the occupied Al-Bab region, and has lost his mental abilities as a result of the severe torture he is experiencing since three years.

The Turkish-backed “Hamza Division” militia kidnapped “Kawa” accompanied by his wife “Rukan Manla” – recently released – from his home in the village of Dargire-Mobata / Maabatli district, on the sixth of September 2018, on charges of dealing with the Autonomous Administration, and since that day, his fate is unknown.

“From the first day in prison, Kawa has been subjected to torture, not any torture, severe torture, until in the end he lost his mental faculties, and now his condition is very bad.” The same source added.

afrinpost” was not able to confirm the news from other sources.

The former detainee (we cannot reveal his name for reasons that involve his safety) indicated that the Turkish authorities threatened to arrest him again if he divulged information to the media about the conditions of his detention in the prison..
