In Afrin: forcibly disappeared Kurdish family’s fate still unknown since six months

afrinpost – Exclusive

“Until today, Friday, the Turkish authorities continue to abduct a Kurdish family (3 members) since six months ago, after being abducted from their home in Jenderes-the countryside of the occupied Afrin region in northern Syria.” As reported by our sources.

The sources pointed out that the Kurdish woman Khalida Ibrahim, 62 years old, her husband (Muhammad Murad Bayram – known by the nickname “Koto”), her daughter Viyan Muhammad Bayram, 23 years old, and her daughter, who is one and a half years old, were arrested about six months ago from their home in Al-Tahtaniya neighborhood in the western side of Jenderes on charges of dealing with the previous Autonomous Administration, at the hands of gunmen of the Turkish-backed “Faylaq al-Sham” militia, and their fate is still unknown until now.

Our sources suggested that the family was forcibly imprisoned in “Faylaq al-Sham” militia prison in Iska / Iskan village of Jenderes district, noting that the citizen “Viyan Bayram” is married to a citizen of the village of “Deir Ballut” and she was staying with her mother due to disagreements between her and the husband.

“The militia, shortly after arresting the ladies and the child, seized the family’s house, along with all of its contents, and transferred it to a military headquarters, and then housed an IDP family in the seized house.” The sources added.
