Elderly Kurdish shepherd wounded in Sherawa in Turkish shelling

Today, Thursday, the Turkish-backed militias targeted a Kurdish shepherd while he was tending his livestock in the vicinity of his village, Mayasa, in Sherawa sub-district in Afrin countryside, which led to his severe injury.

According to our correspondent, the Turkish forces shot the 79-year-old citizen (Issa Hussein Faraj) while he was tending his herd of livestock in the western side of the village, noting that the elderly shepherd was in a critical situation and he was treated in a hospital in the Neighboring town of Zahra, Aleppo.

The correspondent added that the Turkish-backed militants, after targeting the shepherd, seized his sheep herd and took them to areas under their control.

On the other hand, the Turkish forces renewed their shelling with heavy weapons of the villages of Maranaz and Al-Malikiyah, as more than 10 shells fell on the two villages until the moment of preparing the news, in light of the continued shelling.
