The Turkish-backed militants and IDPs cut down 145 olive trees belonging to the displaced people of Afrin in the village of Terenda and Meydan Ekbes, with the aim of selling their woods, according to afrinpost correspondent.

In the village of Terenda – the center of Afrin, the Turkish-backed militias uprooted 75 olive trees belonging to the two brothers (Jamil Muhammad 30 trees – and Hassan Muhammad 45 trees).

In the village of Meydan Ekbes – Rajo district, the Turkish-backed militia of the “Faylaq al-Sham”, cut down 70 olive trees belonging to the Kurdish citizen (Sheikmos Abdo), and their loggers were transported to Idlib city markets through the Deir Ballout crossing in Jenderes district, which is under the same militia’s control.

On the other hand, IDP shepherds continue to attack the olive fields and vineyards in the village of Shitka and Husseh of Mobata / Maabatli district, by overgrazing there, even though the people of the village have filed complaints with the Turkish authorities (civilian police and military police) to deter these shepherds, but to no avail.
