Russia and Turkey agree to open 3 crossings in Idlib and Aleppo

Russia and Turkey continue to coordinate, on the Syrian geography, and on the Syrians, as the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that it had reached an agreement with the Turkish side to reopen 3 crossings, two of them in the de-escalation zone in Idlib and the third near Aleppo, starting from 3/25/2021, they considered it a relief to the difficult humanitarian conditions in the territories under Turkey’s control.

In a press conference held today, Wednesday 3/24/2021, the deputy director of the Hmeimim Center for Reconciliation in Syria of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Major General Alexander Karpov, said: “With the aim of lifting the state of isolation and practically removing the internal siege of civilians, a decision was taken to open Saraqib crossing and Miznaz in the Idlib de-escalation zone and the Abu Zaidin crossing in Aleppo.
