The Turkish-backed militias associated with the Muslim Brotherhood organization arrested 7 Kurdish citizens in occupied Afrin, while one of them seized the house and shop of one of the detainees.
“Faylaq al-Sham” militia, about a week ago, kidnapped the Kurdish citizen (Ahmed Kullah Khairi, 23 years old) from his home in Burj Haydar village of Sherawa district, without knowing the accusation against him, afrinpost correspondent reported.
It is noteworthy that the Turkish forces and its militias are tightening the lives of Burj Haydar village remaining residents and harass them from time to time on charges of dealing with the Autonomous Administration or helping to carry out bombing operations, since the village is located on the lines of contact between the Turkish-occupied areas on the one hand and the areas under the control of Afrin liberation forces on the other hand.
On the other hand, the “Jabhat al-Shamiya” Turkish-backed militia, this morning, Monday 8/3/2021, kidnapped four Kurdish citizens, including 3 elderly people, among them: the 70-years-old Jamil Mustafa Medina, and Adnan Shashu Abu Siwar, 73 years old, in The town of Mobata / Maabatli (accused of being on guard duty during the previous Autonomous Administration), according to the human rights organization in Afrin.
The source explained that the militia kidnapped the two brothers (Ali Youssef Mustafa 67 years old – Asaad Youssef Mustafa 64 years old – Jamil Mustafa Medina – Adnan Shasho Abu Siwar) at six in the morning on charges of going out on guarding shifts during the previous Autonomous Administration period, and they were taken to the militia headquarters in Maabatli.
“Gunmen at the security headquarters had asked their families for a ransom of 600 Turkish liras for each one of them in exchange for their release, and they are still kidnapped by the faction until now” The source added.
In a related context, “Sultan Murad” militia seized a few days ago a house and a clothes store, of the Kurdish citizen “Noureddin Izzat Hajji” about a month after he and his nephew were kidnapped on charges of dealing with the previous Autonomous Administration, according to our reporter.
“The militia considered his home and shop a spoil, and offered the goods in his shop for sale, in addition to seizing his house, including furniture and household.” Our reporter added.
“Sultan Murad” militia kidnapped the citizen Noureddin Izzat Hajji, who is from the village of Husseh, in the middle of last January (1/17/2021), from his shop located on Rajo road within the city of Afrin with his nephew, whose name we could not obtain, after his return from visiting his family, who currently reside Qamishli-northeastern Syria.
