Bedran Çiya Kurd: Visting Erbil by the so-called “Coalition” aims to achieve some goals for the Turkish occupation and associated terrorist groups

afrinpost – Exclusive

Vice co-president of the Autonomous Administration Bedran Çiya Kurd said that the reception of the coalition delegation in the Kurdistan region aims to gain support for the occupation and legitimize its practices in the occupied territories, describing it as a step to strike the Kurdish unity.

Bedran Çiya Kurd’s statement came in an interview with afrinpost news network, where he confirmed that they were shocked by the reception of “representatives of the political front of the terrorism practiced in the occupied Rojava regions” in Hawler by the Kurdistan region.

An attempt to legitimize the genocide against the Kurds

Bedran Çiya Kurd pointed out: “The visit of the so-called“ Syrian National Coalition ”delegation to the Kurdistan region at this particular stage comes to achieve some of the goals of the Turkish occupation and associated terrorist groups, which is to gain support for the Turkish occupation and legitimize its practices aimed at genociding the Kurdish people at a time when the criminal and terrorist face of these groups is clear to everyone, and what has been monitored by international human rights organizations such as the Independent International Investigation Commission and Human Rights Watch indicates this, as this terrorism practiced in the occupied areas, especially Afrin, exposes their intentions that have nothing to do with humanity, where they live in a real dilemma and a quagmire, and it is clear that they are unable to administer a small part of Syria without plundering and killing.

Seeking to turn one Kurdish party against another

Çiya Kurd expressed his shock about the reception that the so-called “coalition delegation” received: With this visit, it proves that they still have partners in their practices, and that they are with the Kurdish people and their rights, but in practice it proved the opposite, this is only deceiving. Therefore, the Kurdish people remain shocked at the regional government’s reception of representatives of the political front of terrorism practiced in the occupied Rojava regions.

Çiya Kurd expressed the position that was expected from the regional government: “It would have been more appropriate for the Kurdistan region government to take a patriotic stance in support of our people in Rojava and to deal responsibly with Kurdish national issues and the suffering of our people in every part of Kurdistan, especially what the spokesman for the mercenaries from Erbil says that they will work with their Kurdish brothers in the occupied areas to confront the existing administrative entity in northern and eastern Syria, opposing the gains of the Kurdish people in another part, and we consider such efforts not to be in the interest of the Kurdish national unity and the gains of the Kurdish people. Here it seems clear that there are attempts to incite a Kurdish party against another to disperse the Kurds even more, especially after Turkey’s failure in the Gare operation, and now Turkey is trying to do so through the Rojava gate and open a wider rift between the Kurdish parties.

The Kurdish National Council does not have the decision to dialogue

Çiya Kurd described the state of powerlessness of the Kurdish National Council, saying: “The visit of this delegation categorically confirmed once again that the Kurdish National Council does not have the decision of dialogue and that they do not have independent positions on the basic future national issues and the framework for the solution to the Kurdish issue, and there are no positions that reject the occupation and terrorist practices in Afrin. Sere Kaniye and Gire Spi ”.

Bedran Çiya Kurd described the coalition’s handling with political weakness and added: “In light of the positions of these mercenary groups denying the rights of the Kurdish people and their role in genociding the Kurds in particular and the Syrians in general and receiving them as pioneers and heroes of the liberation battle, while their hometowns of Azaz and Idlib refuses to host them as they described them as traitors, even their families disavowed them. They are looking for other families to adopt. And hosting them is an insult to the blood of the martyrs and the feelings of their mothers and hundreds of thousands of forcibly displaced.
