Afrinpost correspondent documented several new cases of seizing properties such as homes, real estate and agricultural lands belonging to the indigenous people in the occupied northern Afrin region, by Islamic militias and their settler families.
A gunman from “Mu’tasim Brigade” militia sold two apartments belonging to the Kurdish citizen (Muhammad Kalo), a resident of the village of Kafr Zete / Jenderes, for an amount of two thousand US dollars each, knowing that the two apartments are located in the vicinity of Maysaloun School in Ashrafieh neighborhood.
The same militant also sold a house belonging to the citizen (Rizgar Mahmoud) in the vicinity of Maysaloon School, for an amount of 1,300 US dollars, before leaving Afrin region for good and heading to Turkey.
A gunman from “Samarkand Brigade” militia sold a house in Mahmudiyah neighborhood – al-Qasim al-Fawqani, owned by the Kurdish citizen (Muhammad Alo), a resident of the village of Afraziye, for an amount of 800 US dollars. The militant is from Hama governorate, and the same gunman sold the house of “Sheikhmous Muhammad” to a settler from Idlib, in exchange for a sum of 1,000 US dollars, and the house is located in the vicinity of the building o (Defense Authority) located near Mahmudiyah.
The group called “Abu Zahi” affiliated with al-Jabha al-Shamiya militia sold 6 apartments in a unfinished residential building in Ashrafieh neighborhood, and each apartment was sold for $ 450, knowing that the contractor is the “Malik Kousa”.
“Majd al-Islam” militia affiliated with the Turkish occupation has sold several real estate records located in the vicinity of Dersem Hospital under the pretext that they belong to the Democratic Union Party, knowing that they belong to the people of Afrin, and among their owners was known as Muhammad Dibo, who filed a complaint, except that they demanded from him the sum of 4000 dollars to restore his record!
A settler from Ghouta refused to leave a house in the old district of Afrin, despite the owner’s complaint to the “Rights Restoration Committee, the house belongs to the citizen (Mustafa Muhammad), who is a resident of Kafrshil.
Rijal al-Harb militia sold several houses in the security sector occupied by the militia in Ashrafieh neighborhood, to its mercenary militants returning from Libya, and they in turn rented them to others, and those who returned to Libya, including two houses belonging to the citizen “Muhammad Barakat”, they bought them for $ 2,200.
“Al-Ghannama” settler seized agricultural lands belonging to the displaced people of Afrin, especially that located in the Afrin River basin near the bridge in the city center, after they set up their tents on it, where they cultivate it for their benefit, and these lands belong to the families of (Fayo – Zulfo – Ghobari).
