The results of the arrest campaign that the Turkish occupation authorities led over a period of two days were not completely clear, whether the number of detained citizens, their identities or the charge against them. afrinpost learned of the arrest of a citizen in al-Ashrafieh neighborhood and the transfer of one of the detainees to Turkey, while a third was transferred to the city of Azaz.

afrinpost correspondent reported that the Kurdish citizen, Muhammad Husayn, from the village of Gawrika of Rajo district, was arrested four days ago by Turkish intelligence during the campaign that it launched last weekend in the occupied city of Afrin.

The correspondent added that Muhammad Hussein lives in al-Ashrafieh neighborhood and has a store of used European clothes (second hand). Thus, Hussein is the sixth of those arrested during that campaign.

The Turkish intelligence had arrested five citizens in its two-day campaign. It is noteworthy that the detainees are owners of shops and professions. They arrested the citizen Adnan Abu Mazloum and his nephew Muhammad Safwan, from their place of work in the old Afrin neighborhood (Jenderes Road), where they have a meat shop (butchers).

The next day, they arrested the two Kurdish men (Nidal Muhammad), who is a barber, and his assistant, the citizen (Basil), from their workplace on Rajo Road next to the bakery (Abu Imad). At the time, no information was available on the reasons for the arrest or the charge against the arrested citizens.

The afrinpost website obtained from its sources information that the citizen Adnan (Abu Mazloum) had been transferred to Turkey, while the citizen Zaki Ali Sabri, from the village of Mosako, was transferred to the city of Azaz.

On Wednesday morning 10/2/2021, a convoy of military vehicles of the Turkish occupation authorities stormed the village of Mosaka in Rajo district in search of a number of Kurdish youths, but it did not find the wanted names in the village, and the vehicles themselves moved to Afrin, and arrested the young man (Zaki Ali Sabri) while working in his sewing workshop, and took him to an unknown destination.
