The Turkish occupation forces have arrested six Kurdish citizens, relatives of the two martyrs, who died as a result of the bombing that hit the house of Sharif Qasim (Koleliye) on the morning of last Tuesday, February 23, 2012.
According to afrinpost sources, Omid Akram Battal, Doran Omar Abrush, and three sons of Misto Hussein, in addition to the wife of the martyr Nawzad Akram Tobal, were all relatives of the two martyrs of the Basouta bombing, amid the continued security cordon imposed on the village.
The sources confirmed that the detainees are subjected to severe torture in prison to force them to confess to being behind the bombing, while the occupation forces have not yet delivered the bodies of the two martyrs to this day.
The sources pointed out that there was a commercial partnership (trading livestock) between the martyr Nawzad and a militant of “Hamzat” militia in the village, amid unconfirmed news that a financial dispute between the two parties prompted the gunman to kill the citizen Nawzad with a mine that was thrown into the house.
