Pregnant Kurdish woman died after her husband kidnapped from Husse village, in Afrin

The Kurdish woman, Sherin Rasoul Mahmoud, died on February 15, as a result of her trauma after her husband was kidnapped and abused in their home in the village of Husse – Mobata / Maabatli in the countryside of the occupied Afrin region, northern Syria.

In the details, the Human Rights Organization – Afrin said that Mrs. “Sherin, 20,” who is six months pregnant, was exposed to psychological trauma after witnessing the kidnapping of her husband (Abdo Izzat Genc Khamis) being abused by the militants of “al-Jabha al-Shamiya”, adding that her health condition worsened. She was transferred to a medical center in Afrin and then transferred to a hospital in Qarkhan-Turkey after her health deteriorated, where she passed away. Anyway, the medical team quickly performed a cesarean delivery for her to have twin baby girls who have received intensive care involving incubators.

The organization confirmed that the body of “Sherin” was transferred to the village of Husse to be buried there, while the fate of her husband “Abdo” is still unknown since he was kidnapped.
