Four Kurdish citizens were arrested in the villages of Semalka and Marate in the countryside of Afrin

The Turkish occupation authorities launched a new arrest campaign in the occupied Afrin region in northern Syria, and resulted in the arrest of five Kurdish citizens in the villages of Marati and Semalka.

On Sunday 01/31/2021, armed men affiliated with the Turkish occupation militia kidnapped four young citizens from the village of Semalka in the Mabata / Maabatli sub-district, and the kidnapped citizens were: (1) Shiar Gulgul Seydou, his mother Aisha, 2 Yusef Muhammad Batal, his mother, Litfya 3-Ahmed Abd Al-Rahman Seydou and his mother Mezyet 4 – Aras Yusef son of Muhammad Khalil).

The kidnapped youths were taken to an unknown destination, and no information was received about the charges against them or their conditions.
