Unidentified thieves, in an area controlled by “Sultan Murad” militia affiliated with the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood, robbed Al-Baik phone store located on Rajo Road in Afrin-northern Syria, in light of the widespread acts of banditry and chaos.
About a week ago, unknown persons robbed “Al-Baik” phone store, and the value of the stolen goods was about 30 thousand US dollars, indicating that the area in which the robbery took place is under the control of “Sultan Murad” militia, suggesting that the same militia will stand behind the operation. Knowing that the shop belongs to a IDP from Deir Jmal town in Aleppo’s countryside, according to afrinpost‘s reporter.
The theft took place despite the presence of many surveillance cameras installed by the Turkish authorities, noting that the shop owner had filed a complaint with the authorities, but they denied knowing the identity of the thieves, the reporter added.
In a related context, the vicinity of “Vin” restaurant in the old Afrin neighborhood witnesses repeated theft of carpets carried out by the so-called “Mustafa Al-Shishani,” an armed man of “Sultan Murad” militia, who stole more than ten carpets posted on balconies.
