4 Kurds arrested in Afrin by Turkish occupation authorities

afrinpost correspondent learned today, Saturday, that the Turkish occupation authorities, on Wednesday and Thursday 10-11 / 2/2021, arrested four Kurdish citizens from the center of the occupied Afrin region in northern Syria, and took them to an unknown destination.

The correspondent explained that the Turkish intelligence arrested last Thursday, Adnan Abu Mazloum and his nephew Muhammad Safwan, from their place of work in the old Afrin neighborhood (Jenderes Road), where they have a meat store (butchers) without being able to know more details.

The Turkish intelligence also arrested two Kurdish youths on the next day from their workplace on Rajo Road, near (Abu Imad) bakery, while they were taken to unknown destinstion.

According to the afrinpost correspondent, one of them is called Nidal Muhammad, who is barber, and the other is Basel, who works as an assistant barber.

The correspondent added that a joint patrol of the Turkish intelligence and “Military Police” militia went on Friday to the villages of Basoutah, Ghazawiya and Burj Abdalo, to carry out a search and arrest campaign in those villages, and no information has yet been received about what the campaign resulted from.
