For the third day in a row, the security checkpoints of the Turkish occupation authorities tighten their inspection of passers-by at the entrances and exits of the center of the occupied Afrin region, under the pretext of searching for ISIS cells.
According to the Afrinpost reporter, the occupation authorities have added two members of the “Political Security” militia to these checkpoints, and its mission is to harass the Kurdish population and fabricate charges against them, especially at the “Jenderes Road and Tirinde Checkpoint” checkpoints, where the checkpoints force the Kurdish youth exclusively out from vehicles and investigate them about fabricated charges, the simplest is going out on guard duty during the Autonomous Administration era.
The correspondent added that despite the tightening of security, theft and armed robbery against private and public properties continues, as the theft of some meters and electrical cables in Mahmudiyah neighborhood by the armed men of the “Sultan Murad” militia. A truck loaded with tires was targeted in “Tira” valley in Rajo. The driver, “fro Idlib,” was robbed 1,800 dollars in addition to 3,000 Turkish liras, knowing that the truck is owned by a merchant from the town of Sarmada.
