A citizen was killed and another was wounded today, Thursday, as a result of a landmine explosion, while they were hunting in the woods surrounding the village of Aqiba in the eastern countryside of the occupied Afrin region.
According to Afrin post sources, two people from the town of Nubul in the northern countryside of Aleppo, were hunting in the woods located between the villages of Agiba and Sughanke in Sherawa district, but a landmine exploded, killing one of them and wounding the other, without being able to document their names.
According to a statistic conducted by the Human Rights Organization, the number of casualties caused by the explosion of landmines, the number reached 83 during 2020, while in 2019 the number of victims reached 41 martyrs and 158 wounded.
