One of the occupation sheikhs refuses to attend the funerals of the Kurds in Afrin .. What is the reason?

Afrinpost – Special

He occupies the house of a Kurdish displaced person in the village of Barafa – Sharan district, and refuses to attend funerals of Kurds in the village and performs prayer instead of the Kurdish village sheikh, but he does not hesitate to steal antiquities in cooperation with armed men of “Sultan Murad” militia affiliated with the Turkish occupation and the Brotherhood Muslims.

Afrinpost correspondent said that one of the sheikhs of the occupation, called “Sheikh Homsi,” who is from the countryside of Homs, refuses to attend the funerals of the Kurds in the village of Barafa and the surrounding villages and considers this forbidden according to sharia, explaining that “the Kurds are infidels and atheists.”

The reporter pointed out that the settler “Sheikh Homsi” occupies the house of one of the displaced people in the village of Barafa, and is staying in the mosque after the militia gunmen and their families (from Homs) expelled a Kurdish imam who was working in the mosque called “Abu Muhammad al-Kurdi” to replace him with “Sheikh al-Homsi”.

The reporter added that the settler “Sheikh” is working in cooperation with three other militants in carrying out excavation work in an archaeological hill located near the village, in search of burials and archaeological treasures, noting that the so-called “Sheikh Homsi” restored the village mosque using stones stolen from normally destroyed homes of the displaced people from the village.

The village is still almost empty of its original inhabitants, as only 6 families out of 90 were able to return to their homes, while Turkmen settlers occupy 14 homes, and they come from the countryside of Homs, where the occupation brought them according to a deal they concluded with the Russians.
