“Jaish al-Nukhbah” arrested kurdish young man and demanded his family of 4,000 Turkish liras, in Shekhutka village

On Tuesday 12/1/2021, the Turkish occupation authorities arrested a Kurdish young man from his home in the village of Shekhutka, in Mobata / Maabatli district, on charges of belonging to the ranks of the People’s Protection Units during the previous Autonomous Administration era.

According to afrinpost correspondent, a joint patrol of the civil police and Turkish intelligence militia raided the house of the young citizen Bashar Hannan Rashid Bakhouro in the village, and arrested him and take him to its headquarters in the center of Afrin.

The reporter indicated that Jaish al-Islam/ the elite army militia that occupies the village asked his family to pay 4000 Turkish liras as a ransom for his release, noting that the Kurdish youth is being tortured in the Turkish occupation prison.

This is the third time that “Bashar” has been arrested on the same charge, as he paid in the first time two hundred dollars and the second 400 dollars.

The Turkish occupation authorities and their Islamic militias are launching continuous arrest and kidnapping campaigns against the remaining indigenous people, with the aim of restricting them and pushing them to leave their homes for the benefit of settlers brought from the Syrian conflict areas to Afrin region, with the aim of changing its demography and striking the Kurdish presence there.
