al-Shamiya imposes new royalty in Mobata, under the pretext of installing surveillance cameras

afrinpost – Special

“al-Shamiya Front” militia affiliated with the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood organization is taking advantage of the detonation of the explosive device to restrict the people of the town of Mobata / Maabatli and a number of surrounding villages. Although the so-called (Abu Muhammad Hazwani) survived the suspicious bombing, the militia carried out a series of reprisals against the residents, most recently the imposition of a royalty to install surveillance cameras for security reasons.

afrinpost correspondent reported that the leaders of al-Shamiya Front militia, which controls the center of Mobata / Maabatli district and a number of its villages, imposed a financial royalty of $ 20 on each store in the town’s market under the pretext of installing surveillance cameras, after the explosion of the explosive device that targeted the car of the so-called (Abu Muhammad Hazwani) on 12/18/2020 in the market of the town of Mobata.

“al-Shamiya” militia in the town of Mobata is led by three armed men, who are:

1- Abu Jaafar Hanafi, from Douma-Damascus.

2- Abu Muhammad Hazwani from al-Bab area in the eastern countryside of Aleppo.

3- Abu Ayyub Omar.

Cameras are supposed to be installed in the vicinity of the house, which was seized by the so-called “Hazwani” and Abu Jaafar, because they lived in the same building.

Under the pretext of the incident, the militia launched widespread arrest campaigns that included dozens of citizens, including women, and went beyond the district center to the nearby villages, and severely attacked the people, mistreated and assaulted them.

It is noteworthy that the Turkish occupation authorities imposed royalties and collected sums of money from shop owners in the industrial zone under the pretext of installing surveillance cameras, after the bombing that occurred in front of the Judy bakery and at the entrance to the industrial zone on 11/24/2020.

It is noteworthy that many of the main streets in the city are monitored by cameras, but they have not prevented the bombing incidents from taking place, as the bombings will occur either because of militia competition and differences over sharing of seized property or looted money, and it may be due to resistance operations, meaning that the reality of the occupation and the presence of armed militias is the cause of chaos, while the city was enjoying security and stability before the occupation, and without cameras.
