Yesterday, on January 1, 2021, the Afrin Liberation Forces revealed, in an official statement, the outcome of its operations against the Turkish forces and the Syrian National Army militias, and the outcome of the Turkish attacks on the region during the year 2020, according to the following:
Eliminating 265 soldiers and affiliated militias, including 235 armed militias and 30 Turkish soldiers.
214 wounded, including 172 militants and 42 Turkish soldiers.
35 military vehicles and 3 Dushka weapons were destroyed, in addition to 2 drones, tanks and armored vehicles, 11 military vehicles were damaged.
The Afrin Liberation Forces indicated that, in all of these operations, they captured 12 AK-47 weapons, a lot of ammunition and stores, an M-16 weapon, 2 A4 weapons, 2 BKC weapons, an RPG 7 weapon, 1 MPT 76 sniper weapon, two night binoculars and 3 Walkie-talkies, a camera, 5 cell phones, an area meter, a night binoculars, a day binoculars, in addition to military documents and equipment.
The Afrin Liberation Forces added that the Turkish army launched 375 attacks on the area during the year 2020, during those attacks, 7 civilians were killed, 14 others were wounded, including children, and the pro-Turkish factions launched two ground attacks.
As 20 fighters of Afrin Liberation Forces martyred.
