680 olive trees were cut down in Marate, Ma’mla, and Jenderes by Muslim Brotherhood militia

afrinpost correspondent reported that “Muhammad al-Fateh” militia gunmen cut down an olive field that contains about 100 olive trees located on the highway, and it is owned by the displaced Kurdish citizen Omar Jamil Jaafar, a resident of the village of Ma’mla, who gave a mandate to a relative to look after the trees and take care of them.

In addition, “al-Hamzat” militia gunmen unfairly cut down 130 olive trees in a field owned by a Kurdish citizen (Mustafa Sido), who is a resident of Marate village – Afrin center, knowing that the field is located in the vicinity of Marate central prison.

In Jenderes district, gunmen of “Nour al-Din al-Zanki” militia cut down more than 450 olive trees in the vicinity of the district center, without being able to document the names of their owners.

On the other hand, the armed men of “Liwa al-Waqqas” militia continue to cut down fruit trees and forest woods in order to log and trade them, and in return, Kurdish citizens in the villages and towns they control in the district of Jenderes and Shieh / Sheikh Al-Hadid and Mobata / Maabatli are prohibited from transporting their firewood outside their villages for the purpose of selling also prohibits the transportation of firewood for people whose olive fields are located outside their villages.
