A woman was killed and others were injured as a result of violent clashes that broke out between two armed groups of the “al-Shamiya Front” militia, this afternoon, in the center of the occupied Afrin region, due to the disagreement of the two parties over the right of either side to seize residential and commercial properties belonging to the displaced of Afrin.
According to the afrinpost correspondent in the region’s center, the clashes took place in Kawa roundabout area in Afrin between the “Sons of Deir Ez-Zur Group” and the “Muhammad Oso” group affiliated with the “al-Shamiya Front” militia, due to their disagreement over a number of apartments and shops al-Ashrafieh neighborhood. The clashes resulted in the death of a woman (settler) from Deir Ez-zur, in addition to the injury of four other persons.
The reporter pointed out that the city is currently witnessing a mobilization by the “Ahrar al-Sharqiya” militia, due to the killing of the woman from Deir Ez-zur in the armed clash.
In a related context, today, a bomb attached to a “Santa Fe” vehicle exploded in the city center of Jenderes, seriously wounding a “police” militant, in addition to injuring several other pedestrians.
