The afrinpost correspondent reported that the lawyers working in the Turkish occupation courts are taking advantage of the cases of kidnapping the people of Afrin, the Kurds, to request huge money from the families of the detainees and kidnappers, and they are delaying in pursuing these cases to obtain more money.
The reporter pointed out that the settler lawyer “Abdullah Abdullah”, who comes from Eastern Ghouta, is an opportunist. He was appointed by the family of the Kurdish citizen (F. A) who was kidnapped by the militias two years ago, but he stalled the case and used it to obtain more money, until the total amount of his collection from the family amounted to about 12 million Syrian pounds, without resulting in releasing his kidnapped client from prison.
Settler lawyers in Afrin exploit the cases of kidnapping the people of Afrin, the Kurds, to extract money from their families through procrastination, to gain more money, and thus a new method of looting is revealed.
The correspondent added that the lawyer uses the method of short-term promises to exploit the family, telling them: “Today or tomorrow, he will be released” While the lawyer requests additional funds under the pretext of spending on the case, as he takes them for the personal benefit.
