Afrinpost – Special
Afrinpost correspondent in Shahba areas said that the Turkish occupation forces bombed several villages in the area at these moments from Sunday night, using artillery and mortar, explaining that the bombing was targeting the villages of Ain Dakne and Bayloniye, and that the bombing continued until the time the news was published.
These repeated bombing operations occur despite the presence of the Russian military police in the region, which is the guarantor of maintaining calm in the lines of contact between the areas of the regime forces and the Afrin liberation forces on the one hand and the Turkish occupation forces on the other hand, according to the agreements concluded between Turkey and Russia.
The areas of Shahba are home to tens of thousands of displaced Afrin, who have lived for about three years in the camps, and who are also exposed to siege imposed by the checkpoints of the Syrian regime’s army.
