The trade of seized real estate and apartments continues in the city of Afrin, contrary to the propaganda issued through the order of the formation of the “Restitution of Rights” committee, and returning the properties of Kurdish citizens after 31 months of occupation.
In the context, the Afrinpost correspondent reported that two apartments owned by Kurdish citizens Hikmat Muhammad and Abdul Rahman Muhammad (two brothers from the village of Sheytana / Rahmaniyah in the Mobata / Maabatli sub-district, were sold for $ 1500 per apartment, and the two houses are located above the Afrin bazaar, second floor).
In the same building, a shop, which was previously used for hairdressing, was sold, and owned by Kurdish citizen Muhy al-Din Rashid from the village of Rahmaniyah, for an amount of $ 600. It is reported that the buyer is a settler from a village in the Saraqib region in the southern Idlib countryside.
A settler from Eastern Ghouta in the Damascus countryside sold a basement for a thousand US dollars, while the buyer was a citizen of Afrin, Rashid Muhammad Muhammad, from the village of Khulnireh.
A militant affiliated with the “Ahrar al-Sharqiya” militia known as “Abu Jaber Sharqiya” sold three apartments located in the Mahmudiyah neighborhood overlooking the main water canal, and owned by the displaced Kurdish citizen Muhammad Mustafa, an engineer, and the apartments were sold for $ 900, each. The buyer is called Abu Yusuf Sharqiya.
The correspondent added that the so-called Jaber Sharqia exercises his power in the region and seizes the rent allowance of a number of apartments in the sector controlled by the “Ahrar al-Sharqiya” militia under the Mahmoudiya gas station.
The reporter also said that a house under the New Nridge (at the level of Afrin River) had been sold for $ 700.
In addition, the house of the displaced Kurdish citizen Nadia Muhammad from the village of Baadina was sold. The house is located in Ashrafieh neighborhood above the industrial zone in front of Hamra, and it was sold for an amount of 700 US dollars.
