Afrinpost correspondent reported today, in Mahmudiyah neighborhood in the center of the occupied Afrin region, that the “Hamzat” militia set up a mourning tent for three of its mercenaries who were killed in the Qarabah / Artsakh battles, ne of the dead called “Khidir al-Muhammad.”
For its part, the “Sultan Murad” militia set up a mourning tent for two of its mercenaries killed in the battles of Azerbaijan, in the old Afrin neighborhood – Al-Bu Banna Street, confirming that the militia leaders defraud the families of the dead by deducting large sums from the compensation received by the families of the dead.
The correspondent explained that according to the “mercenary contract” in Azerbaijan under which mercenaries are recruited, in the event of dying in the battles, the families of a mercenary are entitled to financial compensation of 35 thousand US dollars, but the “Sultan Murad” militia violated the agreement and paid the families of one of them 35 thousand Turkish lira, while the wife of the other dead man got only 4 thousand US dollars.
